We are pleased to announce that on Tuesday, 9 December 2025 at 10:00 we will launch our activities in Lower Silesia. The event is being organised in cooperation with the Faculty of Law, Administration
and Economics of the University of Wrocław, specifically with the Department of Economic and Commercial Law.

09:30 -10:00 Participant Registration
• Welcome and a brief introduction to SCL Poland and the Society’s aims
• The Delay and Disruption Protocol as a tool to support efficient project delivery
11:00 – 11:30 Coffee break
• Soft law as a framework for cooperation between those involved in project delivery:
– 15 min, Associate Professor (University of Wrocław) Marek Leśniak (soft law in Polish law)
– 15 min dr Lidia Siwik (the impact of contract language on its effectiveness)
• Civil law tools to support efficient project delivery:
– 15 min dr Kacper Wosiak (risk allocation under a construction contract)
– 15 min, Dr hab. Ewa Wójtowicz (methods for calculating damages in construction litigation)
12:30 – 13:00 Coffee break
• Panel discussion – the practical use of tools to support efficient project delivery, from the different perspectives of those involved: practising lawyer – Dr Maciej Skory, judge – Court of Appeal Judge Dariusz Kłodnicki, contractor – Jarosław Wiśniewski (Mostostal Zabrze), General Counsel to the Republic of Poland – Ewelina Czerniawko-Karcz (Director of the Contract Law Department).
